š The Good
Iām back in Europe for a quick breather, family time and a celebration of life. True to form, the weather canāt decideāsunshine one minute, a torrential down-pour the next. Itās a neat mirror of startup life: apparently random swings, all serving a bigger purpose if you pause to read them.

Macro ā Is what I believed yesterday still true today?
Vision and core thesis
Grab a notebook. Write your vision in one crisp sentence, then work backwards to where you are today. If the joins feel strained, somethingās not right and you have probably pivoted or started to focus on different things, dig in and realign.
Meso ā Whereās the leak?
Systems and processes
Block half a day for a ruthless metrics rinse. Ditch vanity numbers, spot blockages, and embed the processes that keep the engine purring. Solid ops mean users get a smoother ride and you get the data to keep improving.
Micro ā What tripped us up today?
Daily execution
Run a no-blame post-mortem on the last sprint. Isolate one root cause, fix it everywhere it bites, and only then hit the accelerator again.
